False Bay range of wines from False Bay Vineyards, based at Waterkloof estate near the Helderberg. The grapes are sourced from bush vines around the False Bay area, and fermented with wild yeast and minimal intervention.
An intense aroma of peach and barley balanced with acidity, leading to a most satisfying tasting experience. The key to this result is lengthy fermentation with wild yeast which creates a complex structure of flavours and aromas. The fynbos environment adds fennel and anis, and other dry herb aromas, and there are hints of creamy lemon. Perfect with crustacean dishes, risotto, herb roast chicken, or spicy dishes.
