False Bay range of wines from False Bay Vineyards, based at Waterkloof estate near the Helderberg. The grapes are sourced from bush vines around the False Bay area, and fermented with wild yeast and minimal intervention.
A beautiful pink wine with hints of pink gold, with aroma of cranberry, red berries and spice. Light and fresh, with a pleasing dryness. The secret of this rosé is the use of old Chinsault vines (vieilles vignes). The taste is of summer fruits, with a dry finish. Goes well with Mediterranean dishes, particularly juicy garlic shrimps, and can be enjoyed either chilled or at room temperature.
